I found this on the archived drama website.

Chie is cute, isn’t she?
Is she? Is she cute? ? Do you think so??
She’s brave.
She’s brave. She’s devoted, isn’t she? (laughs). She’s cute in that sense. Even if she continues to grow more sophisticated, I don’t think that will change.
She’s set to be the crush of the four of them when she was little, but has she always been a brave, good girl?
I think she’s always been pure and innocent. I think she has a good personality. Maybe she changed after moving. Maybe the countryside changed Chie’s appearance and her heart!? I think she liked Sho-chan, and continued to like him even after returning to the countryside.
Did she not keep in touch with Sho-chan, whom she loved?
According to the proposal, they apparently exchanged letters. But proposals and the actual drama often change, so we don’t know (laughs).
Will Chie continue to grow more sophisticated? Director Tsutsumi said that he was also looking forward to that.
What, are you looking forward to it?
Hahaha. I want to create both a sophisticated and a more mature side to her. Even if her appearance becomes more sophisticated, her personality won’t change. However, I think she will continue to grow. Her actions will become more appropriate, and she will be able to honestly express her feelings for Shou-chan. Right now, Chie actually likes Shou-chan, but when Shou-chan is rejected by Isuzu-sensei, she can’t be happy about it.

Will she eventually confess her feelings to Shou-chan?
What will happen!?
Maybe because she likes him, she ends up accepting his love.
There’s a scene like that in episode 4.
Chie is the type of girl who supports him because she likes him, and will say things like, “You should confess your feelings.”
If it were you?
Of course, I wouldn’t say, “You should confess your feelings.”
But I wouldn’t be secretly scheming and trying to get him to go towards me either.
I guess I’m the type who is honest with people I like.
Is there anything you put effort into when playing Chie?
I’m having a lot of fun playing the role of a nerdy girl. I think you’ll really enjoy the nerdiness of the five of them. With Chie, I paid a lot of attention to her movements. I had her swing her arms back and forth and do some strange movements. I’d like you to pay attention to her bow-leggedness too!
If Sho-chan was sitting with his legs together and Chie was sitting with her legs apart, it would be interesting to see them side by side. She gradually changes over the course of episodes 3 and 4, so she’s different from the Chie we saw at the beginning. I hope I can enjoy playing that change as well.

Don’t you wish you could have a friendship like the one between the five of them?
I It’s something to aspire to. I envy Chie and wish I could be part of it. I think relationships where you don’t see the opposite sex as the opposite sex, and where you’re not seeing each other as the opposite sex, are really great. I definitely want to cherish friendships too. I’d like to get closer to Kou-kun and Udayan-san, with whom I have a relationship like Chie and Kenken, and with whom I haven’t had many scenes together yet.
It seems like it’s fun to be on set with so many people your own age.
It is fun. It’s fun to watch everyone’s acting, and it inspires me, which motivates me to do my best. We talk about manga and general stuff. Sometimes we talk about social issues.
We play Jujan. But I’m not good at it, so I haven’t done it since I lost 3,000 yen (sigh…).
The comedy element is quite strong. Is there anything that’s important when acting for comedy?
The play “The Miracle Worker” that I did recently also had some comedic parts. It was fun to constantly explore timing and other things that would make it funnier. I played Helen Keller, who can’t speak, so I had to get laughs with just my movements. The timing skills I learned back then may be helping me now. I spoke some strange lines in the drama I filmed recently. It feels like I’m on my way to becoming a comedy actress! (laughs). But acting for comedy is difficult, so I’ll be happy if I can do it well.
What do you think of Director Tsutsumi’s direction?
It’s interesting. He keeps suggesting funny things.
What surprised me was that during the first shoot he told me to “keep grinning the whole time.” After I’ve performed, I go to check the monitor at Tsutsumi’s base and see that he’s smiling, which makes me so happy.
Other than that, the images have changed so much, which I look forward to every time. I’m also curious to see how the relationships between the characters will develop in the future.

In episode 2, in the scene where Chie shows her serious side, Director Tsutsumi threw in a joke, right? I was glad that Anne’s acting responded perfectly to the direction.
I thought that was strange (laughs).
I was surprised that he threw in a joke there. But I thought that was a good part of it.
:I thought Director Tsutsumi’s direction was so interesting, not letting the serious parts come to the forefront, but instead putting them in a corner and keeping it a mystery until the end.。
Chie seems to have a dark side, but was she told about her secret beforehand?
We aren’t told exactly what happened.
When I asked Director Tsutsumi, he said he wasn’t told.
The poster says, “11 people had sex yesterday”…
That’s right. I was surprised to see Chie on that list! But we haven’t been told the truth. It’s strange that Chie, who is a simple, wild child, has had experience. I think this mystery will be solved in the future. From the information we’ve been told so far, it seems like it will be quite important for her future. It’s dark, you know.
I think something more than just laughs will happen, right?
What about Director Kato?
He’s handsome, isn’t he? This is the first time I’ve seen a director look so good in a tank top! Director Kato is someone who gives specific instructions about the timing, the way we act, and the atmosphere we should create.

What about the four boys you’re co-starring with?
I really think Ninomiya-kun is a great actor. This is our third time working together, and he’s constantly changing, and it may sound strange for me to say this, but I’m amazed every time. It was amazing how he already had a perfect image of Shohei in mind during the first episode read-through (reading the script together).
Yamashita-kun is similar to Kenken in that he’s quiet. When I see Kenken’s lines in the script, I can imagine what Yamashita-kun’s face would be like. He’s smart, kind, and flexible. His use of language is interesting. Apparently, Director Tsutsumi created a character where he didn’t speak until middle school, so he keeps saying things like “I.” Yamashita-kun does a great job of portraying Hanabi’s strange intonation and his slightly off-the-beaten-path nature.
I haven’t had much interaction with Narimiya-kun or Oguri-kun yet. I’d like to see the bonds between Chie and Kou-kun, and Chie and Udayan deepen in the future. Narimiya-kun and I made our drama debut together. He’s very stoic about himself. He has a strong sense of beauty. Oguri-kun is just like Kou-kun. He’s kind. He’s considerate of little things, like bringing me a napkin when we’re eating. He seems strong and tough at first glance, but actually he’s soft, so I think, wow, this guy must be popular.
How would you like people to watch this drama?
I think it’s fine if people just enjoy it.
There are important keywords scattered throughout the drama, so even though it’s an erotic comedy, I think it’s a drama that the whole family won’t feel embarrassed to watch. I would definitely recommend families to watch it. I hope it will inspire an interest in high school sexuality among family members without feeling embarrassed. I think the parents probably know, but are embarrassed and try to hide it, so I think this drama is one that people can relate to when they watch it. The cityscapes of the filming locations give off a nostalgic vibe, probably because it’s a drama that connects parents and children.
What about the Suzuki family?
They’re an open household. They weren’t strict. They’re a family that wants to laugh together!
