Shohei and his best friends Kengo, Hayato, and Koji are second-year students at Togoshi High School who sincerely hope to lose their virginity. Shohei Asai (17)

He is a kind-hearted person and doesn't get along with blonde hair. Because of his personality, he often acts as a mediator and facilitator between the other three strong-willed characters. Kengo Iwasaki (17)

Nicknamed Kenken. Shohei's best friend. He has been popular since childhood and has excellent grades. He is an avid reader and knows a lot. For some reason, Shohei views him as a rival. He is the only one of the four who has a girlfriend (Fujisawa Sonoko), but they later break up. He is a train enthusiast. He refers to himself as "washi" (myself). Member number 03.

Owada Chie (17)

Nicknamed "Chie." A childhood friend of the four and their common first love. Due to family circumstances, she moved away, but returns to see them after 11 years, completely transformed. In fact, Chie harbors a sad secret. Member No. 05.

Udagawa Hayato (17)

Nicknamed "Udayan." Shohei's best friend. He is a member of the light music club and the lead vocalist, but is tone-deaf. He admires Hatake (SharanQ). He is the self-proclaimed pervert prince of Togoshi. Member No. 02.

Enami Koji (17)

Nicknamed "Ko-kun." Shohei's best friend. The tough and passionate captain of the soccer club. He becomes a strangely pretentious narcissist when in front of girls. He is not good at kanji and often misreads it. He has a habit of sleeping with his eyes open. He uses the first person pronoun "Ora." Member number 04.

Kyōhei Asai (49)

Shohei's father, he runs the Asai Pharmacy. He is the vice-president of the neighborhood association and secretly aims for the position of chairman. He is constantly engaged in petty power struggles with the chairman. His voice cracks when he gets nervous. He founded the Youth Morals Control Committee (Seisei Futori Ii) to eradicate impure heterosexual relations within the neighborhood association.

Tomoko Asai (48)

Shohei's mother. She treats everyone kindly, but her personality changes drastically when she drinks. For some reason, she keeps turning down Kyohei's invitations for a night out.

Shohei's older sister. A nurse. Addicted to mail-order shopping. Scenes at her workplace resemble those in Black Jack.

Kimiko Iwasaki

Kengo's mother, a single mother. She runs the love hotel "Tanabata." Although the hotel's name is "Tanabata," people in the shopping district often mispronounce it as "Shichuu." She is the most understanding person when it comes to children, but her straightforward manner of speaking and acting can sometimes confuse those around her. She ran for the neighborhood association president election.

Udagawa Nobuto (47)

Hayato's father. He runs a greengrocer's shop. His movements and mannerisms are identical to Hayato's. He is not good at writing.

A physical education teacher and Shohei's homeroom teacher. He has feelings for Isuzu Mochizuki, but she ignores him. He often visits pharmacies and condom vending machines. According to Shohei, he doesn't know the English word for "rei" (respect).

Rumiko Sasaki (31)

A nurse. She has a crush on Mitsuhiko Kimura.

Isuzu Mochizuki (24)

An English teacher. Shohei has a crush on Isuzu, but she is a playboy. A certain incident leads her to seriously pursue her teaching career. She favors colored T-shirts with company logos and "Hitachi World Mysteries Discovered!" logos.

The person who had sex in the library. For some reason, he continues to be popular with girls, constantly changing his girlfriend, as well as his clothes and hairstyle. When speaking with Shohei and the others, he always ends his sentences with "virgin." He often behaves in ways that are incomprehensible to the average person.
