Shiraga Taro (Kobayashi Nenji), nicknamed "Shigarami Taro," works in the contract management department of an insurance company. On the surface, his job is to entertain insurance saleswomen and encourage them to increase their sales. Behind the scenes, he is a skilled investigator of insurance claims. And when an incident occurs, he has a keen eye on the scene. However, his true nature is unknown to his colleagues and family. One day, he receives instructions to go to Matsue to entertain a saleswoman from the Matsue branch. That was just a pretense; in reality, he was investigating insurance claims.
