It's the summer of 2003, six months after Bussan, who was given six months to live at the age of 21, returned from the brink of death. As the issuance of new banknotes approaches the following year, the members of Cat's Eye, still spending their days playing baseball and drinking beer, are invited to a party where Yamaguchi is opening a Korean pub with Nekoda as manager. Ucchi, who arrives late, delivers the shocking words, "Ozzy is BACK."

The Cats are overjoyed to discover that Ozzy, who was supposed to have died last year, is somehow still alive. Furthermore, Kishidan asks the Cats for help in writing an original love song to perform at a rock festival in Kisarazu, creating a huge buzz.

Meanwhile, Bussan meets a Korean hostess named Yukke at the pub, and by chance, he carries her on his back as they cross a red bridge together. The two quickly become close. Falling in love with her, he writes a love song and decides to perform it at the festival.

When Bussan confides to his friends that he and Yukke are in love with each other and is thinking of getting married, Mirei-sensei also reveals that she has received a marriage proposal from George Murata, also known as "Smiling George," a man with a wonderful smile who is extremely good at playing Yassai and Mossai, and whom she had admired since high school...

It premiered exclusively at Shibuya Cinema Rise and Kisarazu Toei on November 1st, and was released nationwide from November 15th at Ikebukuro Cinema Sunshine and other theaters, becoming a huge hit, attracting 1.2 million viewers and grossing 1.5 billion yen. The records of 10,111 advance tickets sold at Shibuya Cinema Rise, the first two days of cinema attendance (6,262 people across two theaters), and the daily total (8,285,600 yen across two theaters) remain unbroken.
